“Do I regret it? Yes. A lot. Was it the right decision? Probably.”
Every day for this past week I have felt like Ron Swanson, and not in a good way. He’s the coolest person in the world, but probably not the best role model in my life.
Talking with people about what’s really going on in their lives will make you realize what’s really going on in yours. Then you’ll realize that you are a hypocrite, but then you can fix it. If you don’t talk to other people, you’ll continue to rationalize your problems into not-problems and delude yourself into inaction.
Talk! Realize! Fix! Better you.
I never knew how self-absorbed I was until someone showed me. It makes me wonder what else I don’t know.
(Let’s pretend it’s January 1.)
1. Get better at verbalizing my thoughts and feelings instead of just making noises because I can’t figure out how to put everything into words.
2. Be more decisive.
3. Yeah, that’s it.
